About Online Stopwatch Timer
A small, independent time-tools site built around one rule: the tool has to be usable before anything else loads.

What this site is
Online Stopwatch Timer is a set of free browser tools for measuring time: a stopwatch with laps, a timer, a countdown, a pomodoro timer and a few focused variations such as the fullscreen and classroom stopwatch.
It is deliberately small. There are no accounts, no dashboards and no pages that exist only to fill space: each tool page answers a different question than the others.
How it is built
The site is a statically rendered application, so a localized page loads as fast as the English one, and the stopwatch itself is a few kilobytes of client-side code.
Timing uses timestamps from your device clock rather than a counting timer, which is why the stopwatch stays accurate in background tabs, after device sleep and across hours-long sessions.
How it is funded
Display advertising keeps the tools free. Advertisements are loaded after the stopwatch, only when you allow it, and ad slots never cover the controls or imitate a button.
If advertising ever made a tool harder to use, the advertising would change first.
