Stopwatch

Privacy

Short version: the stopwatch runs in your browser, we do not ask for personal details, and advertising and analytics only load if you allow them.

What is stored on your device

The site stores a few preferences in your browser using localStorage: your theme choice, your consent decision and small interface preferences. They stay on your device, are never sent to us and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser data.

Timings, laps and countdown targets are held in memory for the length of a session. They are not uploaded anywhere and disappear when the tab is closed.

Advertising

Pages are funded by display advertising served through Google AdSense. If you allow advertising, Google and its partners may set cookies or read device identifiers to select and measure ads, as described in Google’s own privacy documentation.

If you decline, advertising and measurement scripts are not loaded at all. Ad slots stay as plain, labelled placeholders and every tool works exactly the same.

Analytics

Aggregate usage statistics — for example which language was used, or whether the fullscreen button was pressed — may be collected with Google Analytics 4, and only after you agree to analytics in the consent banner.

Timings themselves are never part of those measurements. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data.

Your choices and rights

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the privacy settings link in the footer. Blocking cookies or clearing site data in your browser works too.

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data. Because this site holds no accounts and stores no timings, such requests normally concern data processed by advertising or analytics providers, and we will point you to the right place.
